Bert Kish has been a famous filmmaker and director and was the son of the popular, talented editor and director, Albert Kish. Sadly, Bert died in May 2017 after battling with cancer. He was from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and proceeded along with his brother Colin into Los Angeles after choosing to follow a career in the film industry.The Bert Nash Center has seen dedicated support from our state legislature over the past several years, and we hope, in partnership with the ACMHCKS, we can continue that into 2023. Our 2023 legislative and regulatory priorities, developed by the ACMHCKS, include: Certification of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs).The Bert Nash Center (BNC) is the designated community mental health center & the certified community behavioral health clinic (CCBHC) for Douglas County, KS.
