SAS had more of combat sight picture with a lot lower sight that forced me to raise the gun quite a bit higher than my usual RDS set. The Front sight has a sight picture closer to 6 o'clock hold at 10-15 yards, so the position of the gun ends up being pretty close to the RDS setup, which helps a lot with muscle memory. The RMRcc is small, roughly the same size as the Romeo Zero. Yes, on the P365XL the Type 2 has some overhang on the sides, but because of the way the Maple Leaf adapter plate is shaped it still looks good on the gun IMO. The adapter plate does raise the sight up a little.

It looks like newer variants of p365xl/x are coming out with a split optics mount and rear sight. It does not appear that you have to remove the back plate or the striker as you do on the P320 X-Compact. I believe the Romeo Zero is installed from the top of the slide.A few different models of P365s and P320s have this. However some versions of these guns do not have this. The P320 X-Compact had it sight on the plate. The P320 X-Compact RXP Did not. The same thing went on with the P365XL. The stock XL, all of which are optics ready, had the sight on the plate. FYI: Bolt Depot has 2-56 x 5/8 phosphate cap screws. I know they are 1/16 too long but for .34 cents each and 4.65 shipping I will polish off a sixteenth.
