J20a hydraulic fluid equivalent

Hilliard recommends using John Deere JD20C or 20D, Hytran, HyGuard Mobil fluid 424 or Rando HD46 or equal. DO NOT use 80-90W gear oil in the transmission. It will trash the bearings.The Case/IH dealer has Hytran for $115/5gal bucket. That works out to $1150 for an oil change. I don't expect to use this tractor under a full load at all and I don't believe I will be shifting up and down to use the Torque Amplifier much. It will be used on a 15ft Bat Wing mower and a 1500 gallon sprayer.

My Walmart actually carries 5 gallon pails of Super Tech "Premium Heavy Duty Tractor Hydraulic and Transmission Oil" with a prominent green label and it's listed on the label as meeting J20C.
