In the '80s my crazy religious aunt gave me "anti satanic" propoganda on cassette tapes to listen to which vividly described graphic sexual material that I apparently was being exposed to by playing dungeons and dragons and listening to rock music. Even today I'd be hard pressed to come up with imagery as explicit as her church made me listen to.There was one "mean girl" moment where a gaggle of future Karens surrounded our table and were loudly "praying" over us. They worked themselves up to a little frenzy yelling "Satan begone" and it was way creepier than anything in D&D. The Satanic Panic was much larger than DnD.
