I say this because in guides, first wave you need 17 fish and subsequent phases you need 19, so on first phase 17 and then 1 to lower the boss, and then after that each phase is 19-1 (1 to activate the last phase) so it's 18 to get to 4% energy?

Honestly once you learn the solo method it’s more relaxing, you keep tempoross at 10% energy or less and he doesn’t throw more waves at you so it’s more afk. Firefighter method is really braindead and you can do it barehand fishing.
