That's going to be the main reason I will be going with a smart carb over a lectron unless someone has the same option for a lectron.The Lectron is the only other one still surviving. Generally you can't get top and bottom end tuned well at the same time , hence the power jet. You can get a Mikuni TM 40 pumper for $250 new. I agree, those carbs are designed for 2 strokes..
