The G2 release is small and rather hard to operate even when intended. It can be reversed with a little effort. I did that on one gun, decided I didn't like it and switched it back.Specification. I noticed that on the G2C guns, you need to push the slide a little harder/farther to the back than normal to engage the slide lock. My 24/7 G2C .45 slide lock acted just like that.
