I have 2006 Lincoln Navigator. Fuse #5 blowing up time to time. Climate control, central lock and back door lift doesn't work after that. A week ago fuse box under the right-hand side of the instrument panel burned and I replaced it with the new one from the same auto, but problem still stays. Fuse # 5 blowing up every time.The smell was from sitting water. Went to the fuse box, lots of corrosion. Replaced the 2004 fuse box with a 2006 navigator fuse box. Still no auto lights, radio still stays on, etc. Replaced the VSM using a 2006 Navigator as a donor, no improvement.
