Gm 3970010 block number
The block is a 3970010 350 and I will go from there. When i dissassembled the engine I found that the engine had been rebuild already with very low miles on it. The inside is a clean as if I just built it, there is NO top edge on the cylinders and the bearings look great. The pistons look like new except for the carbon on top and are stamped .040.Block Casting Number: 3970010. which from what I can tell means: 1969-1979 350 185-370hp 2 or 4 car,truck,vette.
