Department honors
Departmental Honors. Students who have completed at least 64 points of graded work in the College may be awarded degrees with departmental honors if they complete the designated honors sequence in a department and maintain the requisite grade point averages. There are two levels: honors and high honors.The Honors Capstone Experience is designed to be the culmination of an Honors student experience in the University Honors Program. It may be taken within the Honors College or through the student's major department or other academic unit. Regardless, it must be designed to allow each student the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
