Dec 7, 2018 · Drove a 6th gen Camaro SS and hated the lack of visibility. I literally didn’t feel safe driving that car. Drove a buddy’s 2017 ZL1 after buying my SS - confirmed for me that I made the right choice. The power gain all depends on the cut of the cam, and how much faster it makes your car depends on if you set it up for top end power, mid range, or low end and what track you're looking at. Oiled also adds a lot more complexity with feed and drain lines, pump setup, brackets for the pump, wiring harness for the pump, and check valves to prevent oil pooling.
