I managed to get the bins, the secret key to the lock (wink), and get the writing app to recognize the bins to put on the chips. Its pretty sweet. there is also a homebrew app for the 3DS to read/write amiibos and ntag215 cards/stickers. I've always thought that it would be cool to have this app implemented into the switch as a homebrew app. For $11 I got 28 NFC tags with free shipping and the actual files and software to use them is free.
