From what I've read regarding 'Henning' nickles; they weigh between 5.2 to 5.4 grams and were counterfited in 1939, 1944, 1946, 1947 and 1953. He also used 6 die variations.

Henning admitted to making 6 reverse dies and 6 obverse dies and not all have that broken “R”. Another clue is that a Henning counterfeit can be overweight (more than 5 grams), though again, that isn’t an absolute test.
