I have seen videos that show how to get the FCU out of the frame: completely punch out the pin at the back of the slide and the lift the FCCU out from the back first. I have no idea on the slide and Striker.The most likely answer you'll get is to call SIG and send the gun in. This may well be the best approach. I've heard of similar occurrences with other guns, not the P365, but this may work. The idea is to reach into the guide rod hole and grab the spring - then pull it out of the guide rod hole.Gee, if the striker tip in the P365 wears down to a nub so quickly then won't fire at all, why aren't we allowed (by the Sig Owner's Manual) to strip the gun down to the striker to inspect it frequently? Why are we not allowed to replace the striker tip to keep the gun working past just a few hundred rounds? Inquiring minds want to know.

There are no videos or directions I can find anywhere on how to get the striker housing removed. Apparently this is necessary to mount my red dot. The manual the XL came with is for the 365, and these are two different firearms and the striker housing is removed completely differently than the original 365.
