Ford f150 power door locks not working
I'd think it a good idea to disconnect the hot wire currently connected to accentuator before applying 12v directly to it. 1997 - 2003 F150 - Viper Alarm install caused door locks to stop working - Have 2000 F-150 w/ PL, PW. The power door locks have ceased all response from the door switch or keyless remote. At this point, I've been able to actuate the door locks by jumpering, at the wiring harness plugs for the keyless entry module, a hot and common to the actuators, and reversing polarity to unlock.

If you hear the actuator, but the door isn't locking/unlocking, one of the locking rods came off.
