It's easiest to loosen both the lock nuts and then remove the outer tie rod end form the knuckle and swap it out. Pull a measurement between the lock nuts and that ill get you close on the toe also. The lock nuts are 19mm and the nut on the tie rod end is a 17mm (2 wrenches needed to hold the end ...Theoretically, the only difference would be the power assisted steering box. You'd have to replace that and add the wiring. The linkages and rods should all stay the same. However, today the power steering didn't feel as effortless as normal.Take it to the dealer. Honda needs to know about these problems so that recalls can be made if needed. Using the forums to solve problems is great for older machines, but for the new stuff, honda should be correcting these problems with their time and money. My buddy's Rincon will run fine until it gets hot and then goes into ( a limp mode) no power. Let it sit and runs fine until warm again then limp mode again. No idiots lights coming on, water pump, temp censer, radiator cap all have been replaced.

I noticed some looseness in the front end and thought it was wheel bearings but after I jacked it up, all 4 ball joints worn out, upper control arm bushings on both sides worn out ...I pulled the fuse to the power steering and replaced it. That fixed the problem....for a while. Now the problem is intermittent. I think it is related to low battery. The battery will start the engine, but it BARELY starts it. I think I killed the battery with a parasitic drain from the stereo system which has been disconnected until I can ...…
