Mark III Released in 2004, this pistol has a magazine release button on the left side of the frame. Mark IV Released in 2016, this pistol has a simplified takedown.Improvement and upgrades are a good pattern to follow for pistol model progression. The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite is a nice improvement and has excellent upgrades over the previous model.
