If attack animations were updated to allow for smooth continuous attacks, then multi-hit would be an easy-mode DPS buff.

Some weapons gain the ability to hit multiple zombies. Rolling pins, pans and saucepans can hit two enemies whereas two handed weapons like the baseball bat, axes and crowbar can hit up to three. This mod was created when katana, crowbar and golf club were not multihit. Since then they have been made multihit. Number of zeds that can be hit was increased for them from 1 to 3 - which seems excessive for crowbar and golf club.
