Verizon Cr1000b slow wifi with high signal strength. 1gbps plan. When my fiber was first installed i could do 350-500mbps in the same location my laptop was in at time of speedtest. My ethernet is fine at 800 down/900 up or better (full 1gb speed with a more expensive usb c adapter) It's bad on all devices even sitting next to the router.Connecting a Verizon CR1000B router to a second router . Until today, I had a very 14 year-old Actiontec M1424WR router connected to a Synology RT2600ac because the wifi signal on the Actiontec was too weak to reach three floors down to our TV. Turning off the Actiontec's wi-fi & using the Synology's wi-fi instead completely solved the problem.

I recently got a new router from Verizon (model no. CR1000A ) and am experiencing some strange drops in internet connectivity that I wasn't before, but ONLY on my desktop PC. To be specific, the internet on my desktop functions mostly normal (tested separately with both wifi and ethernet) but...I only tested FTP so far, up/downloading to/from CR3000, CR1000, CR1000X with a FTP client. This way the FTP part of the firmware of the logger deals with things. Involving CRbasic usually slows things down a lot, i.e. CRbasic being in control of up/dpownload. Wouldn't recommend it unless really necessary.The A is made by Wistron NeWeb, whereas the B is made by Arcadyan Technology (the same manufacturer that made the G3100).
