OP- I recall at some point there was some incompatibility due to LCI barrels/slides. Meaning if your barrel had an LCI but slide was not milled for it there might be issues. Even more confusing, IIRC, when the P320 was first released, it was released in three configurations: full-size, carry, and subcompact. That "carry" was the size of the current compact.
