Chalice dungeons is a quite complicated system and I don't have a firm grasp on it even after reading the Arcane Guide 2.0. Yes! Both the fire wielding skinny Watchers and the Watchdog boss drop a maximum of 10.5% Fire gems. Watchdog has slightly stronger secondaries, but all secondaries in Pthumeru 1-3 are useless for elemental damage.I noticed a HUGE drop in damage when I socketed any elemental gems (fire, arcane, bolt) in LHB versus either putting in a regular scale gem or even leaving the slot empty.
