Step 2 - Locate and remove the belt tensioner mounting bolts, in this case there are two bolts which are 13mm and 15mm, most tensioners will have one to three mounting bolts.With the 15mm socket and ratchet, apply clockwise force to take tension off of the belt and slip it off of the pulleys. Remove it and discard. If you wanted to replace the tensioner, now remove the two 15mm bolts that hold it in place, and put the new one in its place. Figure 2.
