It involves observing the physical environment of a community from a vehicle, such as a car or a bus. They collect data on various topics, including housing conditions, street maintenance, and public safety. Advantages There are several methods of traversing, depending on the instruments used in determining the relative directions of the traverse lines. The following are the principal methods: Transit type traversing a)By fast needle method b)By measurement of angles between the lines.
