Dometic Thermostat shows E1 error, so heat pump / air conditioner does not work. It is a communication issue between the CCC and the AC unit. From what I found while trying to fix the "E1" code on my dometic thermostat it looks like a ton of other people are having the same frustrating problem. The code is a "lack of communication "problem from stat to control board. After checking connections and doing a hard restart the code remained.Randall we also have a E1 code flashing on the thermostat, we have tried to reset, shutdown electric and turn off circuit breaker nothing is resetting it. The air conditioner works just won't shut down we have to turn the breaker off for it turn off. there is no way to get the heater on cause it comes on the air when we turn on the breaker.
