This was changed sometime early on in osrs. ... At 75, iban's is 5 tick max 25, and trident is 4 tick max 20. So in 20 ticks, the iban staff gets 4 hits of max 25 and the trident gets 5 hits of max 20. If both weapons had the same accuracy they would have the same expected damage. Trident has slightly more magic attack bonus though (15 vs 10).This staff has 120 charges and then can be recharged in the Underground Pass. This also requires 75 magic so ibans staff is better until you reach lvl 75 magic. This is also all assuming you are on a slayer assignment.
