They are not interchangeable . However you can use the LCP trigger in the LCP Max but you have to file down the trigger stop on the Max frame. The little nub to the rear of the trigger area. Just a couple thousandths of an inch and it will work. Shoots much better too. You can also put a LCP Max slide assembly onto a LCPII frame. i have dealt with galloway several times for upgrades to my SR series pistols. the results are well worth the money. my son has also upgraded his lc9. can't say enough good things about their quality and service. you won't find a better vendor in my opinion. Ruger stretched this out by half an inch to accommodate the new longer magazine. The magazine is really what makes the LCP Max the max. Had lots of issues with my gun over all- sent it back for maintenance 2 times and ... .finally it runs right. I installed the MCarbo spring kit and it improved the Galloway trigger. And the MCarbo trigger is also much improved over both factory and Galloway. Pretravel is adjustable. Trigger break much more consistent and predictable.
