I have a 04 1000 and was wanting to stretch it 4-6 inches and lower it 2-4 inches to keep the front end from coming over on me when I get on it. Thats what happend to me last time on my 05 600 and about killed myself.You will need extensions, longer chain(# of links depend on length of stretch, lowering links, and adjustable or short kick stand. Lowering the front to match is free with some hand tools and knowhow. Maybe $600 for everything.
