So, thrifty is a must for traits. Also, incubators is a must, gives you more pop growth than any of the other pop growth traits. (Full bonus starts decreasing by 1% per pop at your 8th pop, -10% is reached at 48) Non-Adaptive is also a free take for void dwellers.

Ecu take a lot of tech and build time to set up, whereas its pretty easy to get voidborne as a second or third AP. Habitats give you more planets, which means more pop growth. Anyway, the best build is a space based livestock house. Livestock carry their jobs with them and use 0.25 housing, so you can potentially get 320 or so then into a habitat.

3. Rhoderick. • 2 yr. ago. Well, with the Knights specifically, common advice is to rush the +3 stability per Knight bonus, and then use a bunch of slaves to get an economy of basically unlimited size. (+3 stability per 10 pops outweighs what stability impact 10 slaves can have in a properly setup economy by a good bit.)Streamers like Stephan Anon say that tech rush and rushing another empire immediately are the two most optimal strategies in the game right now, and have been for awhile. If you look at the 30 player PvP that was streamed to showcase nemesis last week, I believe the final three or four players all used tech rush.3. Rhoderick. • 2 yr. ago. Imperial fiefdom, particularly with a megacorp, is a very powerful start at higher difficulty levels. It's pretty cheesy tho. Void dweller terravore is another one that's very strong, you start with a high alloy income, then instead of using that for habitats, you build a fleet and go stomping all over AI really early. The fleet comp is: 50% torpedo frigates (with afterburners) 40% brawler destroyers. 10% screen destroyers. So if you have 100 command limit in a fleet it should be 50 frigate bombers, 20 destroyer brawlers, and 5 screen destroyers. Adjust as necessary, adding more screen if you’re taking a lot of damage from missiles or strike craft and more ...A fleet of 50+ corvettes, more if you can afford them. Weapon loadout whatever works, but try to get them to 90% evasion. Then the rest of your fleets are battleships and titans with only your long range weaponry. The goal is for your corvettes to evasion tank the enemy fleet while your BBs do the killing from a distance. And your picks are Determined Exterminator (ungodly!) and Maintenance Protocols. Here's why: MP gives all your Nexus/Maintenance pops Unity, which helps hit those early traditions. Those traditions are force multipliers, especially the first one (Expansion) and will let you shoot ahead easily. Government : Machine Intelligence. Traits : Emotion Emulators + High Bandwidth + Mass Produced + Superconductive. Civics : Driven Assimilators/Rogue Servitors/Determined Exterminators + Rapid Replicators. Clone Army is a very strong early aggression build because of the strong ( but capped ) pop growth. Robots don't need food or consumer goods. They run on energy. A simpler economy. As they don't need food, machines can build bio reactor buildings that turn food into energy. You have starbase solar panels (to generate energy) instead of trade. So no trade routes or piracy suppression to worry about.
