Boss plow solenoid problems

Boss plow light problems! Just installed a used BOSS 8'6" super duty straigt blade on my '00 Chevy silverado 2500. All plow functions work fine as in up,down,left and right.The problem comes when I flip the switch from "TRUCK" to "PLOW" lights. The truck lights go off,parking lights stay ON on the truck but the plow lights do not come on.

My boss v plow wing won't go out every time. We can here the pump pushing but wing won't move. when we push both out buttons at the same time it will work. And sometimes it just works in its own. Is this a ground issue or is the valve going bad. The left wing works great and so does up and down.

From what you said the battery "only" goes dead when you have the power plug connected, and you have the control/light connector still plugged in. The solenoid has two big posts for the power cables and two small posts for the trigger circuit. There's a wire in the harness with a ring terminal sized to fit one of those small posts. There should be a loose wire with a ring terminal on one end that will fit the other smallpost on the solenoid.The needle would go up just a little higher than picture when the raise button pushed. It would just reach 1000 PSI. It would hold to take the camera shot. Push down on the controller and it would go down under 100. The dealer is a 1 1/2 away, the snow has come and gone. Sounds like you have an issue with the coil or valve that's preventing the valve to operate. All the browns in there are tied together (including those at the solenoid) and should terminate at the negative battery terminal. If your browns have no ground then nothing will work.If the solenoid works, then you've lost power somewhere between the battery and the pump. If it is check for power at the pink wires on the switch.
