I'm finishing up the university physics lineup, and I'm wondering if 213/214 is taught any better than 211/212. I found the pre-lectures in 211/212 completely useless and didn't teach me a single thing. Lecture is useless, lab is useless, discussion is less useless. Homework is long and hard (I'm not good at physics), and exams are tricky.

Not bad. I think it's still a plug number into formula style of class. I'd say it's comparable in time commitment to Phys 211 or 212, maybe a little harder. It's not something to take on a whim, but it's a good class. Read the textbook.University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Grainger College of Engineering. Physics. Search. Mechanical engineering technical elective. Should I take phys 213 + 214 for my technical elective. I feel like that is more applicable than MCB 150 or chem 104/105. I would say take PHYS 213+214, as they are only 8 weeks each and more “applicable” to certain courses (e.g ME 200). I also haven’t heard good things about MCB 150.General overview.
