I have removed the auger to clear all debris, checked all gears in motor (all seemed fine), and checked for continuity in electric motor. Ran diagnostic tests as per manual.The auger motor is responsible for turning the auger, which feeds the pellets into the firepot. If the motor is not working, the auger won’t turn and the pellets won’t be fed into the firepot, resulting in a lack of heat and smoke. To inspect the auger motor, first, make sure the unit is unplugged and the hopper is empty.Most of the problems with pellet stoves get traced back to the pressure/vacuum switch that controls the auger and pellet feed. The best way to begin troubleshooting this switch is to pull the hose off it and blow into the hose towards the combustion area.
