Around 11 or 12 weeks is a growth spurt. They get sooooo clingy and difficult to put down during that time. I’m currently going through one with my almost 1 year old. It’s tough, but seriously, keep baby wearing. It is a godsend, it got me through those tough newborn days. In my mind, whatever helps them feel comfortable enough to sleep, do it! I could see it being useful for short trips, like just stopping in a store for something, or for outings once baby starts walking and wants to be up and down all the time.
