The Hellcat's grip is slightly thicker, some might prefer, some not. I like 'em both but the Sig just seems to fit me (medium hands) slightly better. The longer XL grip frame with flared mag well is a plus, but with the 13 round mag the Hellcat also fits fine. So really, one could love either pistol.That being said, since Sig revamped 10 or 12 years ago they’ve got a bad habit of “beta testing” their products on consumers, and when their guns fall apart or break they issue a recall or a fix and make a change to the next batch. My first was the 365XL and then I got the 43X. Personally, I think the Sig looks way better but the sights and edges would start to dig into me. I also wanted to Gucci out my Sig so I bought the 43X. The 43X isn’t nearly as good looking but it is very easy to conceal, shoots better, and it is way more comfortable carrying opposed to the Sig The P365XL is worth a look. Unlike the Glock 48, the P365XL has a full-length recoil system. This softens felt recoil and in my opinion, offers better cycle timing for the 147-grain loads that tend to choke the P365 and G43 (X). Edit: I mis-spoke. The drop safety shelf is in the trigger housing.
The P365 or XL is superior to the G43X in almost every way. It holds more ammo (than a regular 43), it recoils less, its easier to hold, its trigger is better. The net is that its a similar sized gun that holds more (or the same for a 43X)ammunition and is easier to shoot. Superior.
