1980. He completed a two-year postdoctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Pediatrics at KU Medical Center in 1982 and joined the staff of the Pediatrics Department as an Assistant Professor in 1982. Dr. Rapoff clinical and research focus is on psychosocial issues in chronic pediatric diseases, including pain, adherence, and coping/adjustment.
