Silverado fan keeps running when truck is off

Not sure if there is a temp sensor going bad, or maybe a relay. Anyone run into this yet?The $900 includes a $180 fee so they can look at your truck and confirm it is the thermostat. Even though you told them it was the thermostat when you brought it in 😵, then they told me they told me the part was in shortage ("could take a week or two months).

As some have mentioned, cooling fans running after the car has turned off happens when the car was in the middle or just finished a regeneration cycle of the DPF. The regen raises the temperature of the DPF to "coke" the soot in the DPF, and when its hot you can smell the heat.
